If you need an emergency vet, please call us right away and we will guide how to best handle the issue.

During Business Hours

If you need emergency vet care during business hours, you can bring your pet in right away. Overpeck Creek Animal Hospital now has extended hours to 8pm on weekdays to serve both established Tenafly clients and new clients. Both Tenafly Vet & Overpeck Creek have also extended hours to Saturday 3pm. We ask that you please call us on the way to our hospital so we can be best prepared to help your pet. Depending on the emergency, we may be able to service you at our facility or send you to a neighboring hospital.

VetTriage

For after hours emergency service we have partnered with VetTriage to offer video telehealth services. The VetTriage veterinarians are available 24/7 and for a small fee, will assess your pet on a live video chat to determine if your pet requires immediate emergency care, or simple monitoring at home until we reopen. In the event that in-person care is needed, VetTriage will coordinate a visit to the hospital on call.
